6582 dollars, divided equally amoung 32 employees.

Let's use multiplication to guess and get a close answer, it's a little easier than division:

    32 x 100 = 3200 (but we need about twice this amount)

    32 x 200 = 6400 (we still have 182 more dollars left over)

So now we know that each employee gets about 200 dollars, but let's get more specific.

Let's try 32 x 5, which equals 160. We can't "fit" any more in, because all that's left is 22 dollars.

    We have 32 x 200 and 32 x 5, which together is 32 x 205 ( = 6560) and the closest we can get to $6582 if we're splitting all of the money evenly.

    Each employee should recieve $205.
