    I can solve for b1

    A=1/2 (b1+b2) h

    times 2 both sides

    2A = (b1+b2) h

    distribute

    2A=hb1+hb2

    minus 2A both sides

    0=hb1+hb2-2A

    minus hb1 from both sides

    -hb1=hb2-2A

    times - 1

    hb1=2A-hb2

    divide both sides by h

    b1 = (2A/h) - b2
