    To find the equivalent fractions, multiply each fraction by the others denominator ...

    4/5 = 4/5 * 6/6 = 24/30

    5/6 = 5/6 * 5/5 = 25/30

    Since an hour is 60 minutes and our fractions are in 30 min increments, multiply each by 2/2 to find how long he exercised each day.

    Monday = 24/30*2/2=48/60 so 48 minutes.

    Tuesday = 25/30*2/2=50/60 so 50 minutes.

    He spent 50-48 = 2 minutes longer on Tuesday exercising.
