In a certain bag of candies, 2/5 of the candies are grape flavored and 3/10 are lemon flavored. What fraction of the candies is either grape or lemon flavored?

    I believe you multiply both fractions to get the answer. 3/10 x 2/5 would be 6/50, which simplifies to 3/25.
