This year, a baseball player made 92 hits out of 564 times at bat. Another player made 84 hits out of 634 times at bat. Did the two players have the same batting average?

    No, when you subtract 564-92 = 472 & the other player has a average of 550

    92 multiplied by 634 is 58,328

    564 multiplied by 84 is 47,376

    the two products are not equal so the two players do no have the same batting average.
