    To solve this problem you must apply the proccedure shown below:

    1. You have that th rectangular prism has the following dimensions: Its length is 18 cm, its width is 6 cm, and its height is 3 cm.

    2. Then, you must apply the formula for calculate the surface area of a rectangular prism, which is:

    SA=2 (WL+HL+HW)

    Where SA is the surface area of the rectangular prism, L is the lenght, W is the width and H is the height.

    3. Therefore, when you susbtitute values into the formula shown above, you obtain:

    SA=2 (WL+HL+HW)

    L=18 cm

    W=6 cm

    H=3 cm

    SA=2[ (6 cm) (18 cm) + (3 cm) (18 cm) + (3 cm) (6 cm) ]

    SA=360 cm^2
