A and B are two similar shapes.

A has a height of 12cm.

B has a height of 15cm.

The area of shape A is 200cm^2 (200cm squared)

Calculate the area of shape B.

    Set it up as a proportion. 12 / 15 = 200 / x. Then cross multiply to get 3000 = 12x. Divide by 12 on both sides so x = 250.
