Herman horse trader bought a horse for $600 and then sold it for $700. The next day he bought it back for $800 and then sold it for $900. How much money did Herman make altogether?

    700-600=100. 100-800 = - 700. - 700+900 = 300

    The horse trader made three hundred dollars
