Apples are on sale for $0.85 per pound. Darla has a $5 bill. About how many pounds of apples can she buy?

    You will have to divide 0.85 into 5.00 ...

    5.00/0.85 = She can buy a total of 5.8 lbs ... but rounding to whole pound, she can only buy 5 lbs.
