Do the following lengths form a right triangle?

a = 6.4, b = 12, c = 12.2

    The way you find if they form a right triangle is by using the Pythagorean Theorem, a^2 + b^2 = c^2:

    (6.4) ^2 + (12) ^2 = (12.2) ^2

    40.96 + 144 = 148.84

    184.96 ≠ 148.84

    Therefore, this is not a right triangle.
