    21

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The length is equal to the width plus 11. So we can write an equation like this: 62 = 4w + 22. We subtract 22 from both sides, and get 40 = 4w. Divide by 4 on both sides, and we know that 10 equals width. The length is 11 more than the width, so 10+11=21.

    The length is 21 ft

    Step-by-step explanation:

    w = width

    l = w+11

    The formula for perimeter is

    P = 2 (l+w)

    62 = 2 (w+11+w)

    Combine like terms

    62 = 2 (2w+11)

    Divide each side by 2

    62/2 = 2/2 (2w+11)

    31 = 2w+11

    Subtract 11 from each side

    31-11 = 2w+11-11

    20 = 2w

    Divide each side by 2

    20/2 = 2w/2

    10 = w

    Now find the length

    l = w+11

    l = 10+11

    l = 21

    The length is 21 ft
