    Normal distribution

    mean of 10

    standard deviation of 2

    600 x 50% = 300

    10 - 2 = 8

    10 + 2 = 12

    300 * 0.80 = 240

    300 * 1.20 = 360

    from 240 to 360 will lie between 8 and 12.
