The Navajo and Pueblo Indians create large, circular sand paintings as part of traditional healing ceremonies. How much more circumference does a sand painting with a 20-foot diameter have compared with one with a 5-foot diameter?

    Circumference = 2πr

    r = d/2

    r=10 r=2.5

    Circumference = 63 Circumference=16

    63-16=47
