What is the equation of a line that passes through (4, 3) and has a slope of 2?

    So right of the bat the equation we know from what's given is y = 2x (+b)

    we gotta find out what b is

    so we plug the coordinate in

    3=8+b.

    b=-5

    so we put all the pieces back together to get

    y = 2x - 5
