How do I solve?

Hereford College has space for 450 students in the freshman class. The college estimates that 60% of the students who are admitted will actually attend college. How many students should be admitted?

* I know you have to set it up like a proportion i just dont know how to solve.

    450 studnets is the number that they want or can hold.

    that is only 60 percent of people that they can actually accept because they believe that 40% aren't actually going to attend.

    what you would do is divide 450 by 60 you get 7.5

    multiply that by 4 and you get 30 add a zero because the numbers are all in the hundreds and you get 300 or the 40% that aren't going to attend the classes

    so they will except the 100% or 750 students
