A jet flies over the Air Force Base at 10:20 a. m. At 10:32 a. m., the plane passes over the Navy Base Station, 120 miles away. How fast is the aircraft traveling?

    Step-by-step explanation:

    distance = speed x time

    but we are working out the speed, so it is speed = distance / time

    it takes 12 minutes, so we do 120 / 12 which gives us 10
