If the cross sectional area of a wire is decreased while all other factors remain the same, how would the resistance change

    If the cross sectional area is decreased whereas all the other factors being the same then the resistance will get double because resistance is inversely proportional to area of cross section and so if area is decreased by half then resistance will become double.
