A wedding ring has a circumference of 48 mm. What is the diameter of the ring, rounded to the nearest millimeter? Use 3.14 to approximate pi.

    48 = 2πR

    48 = 6.26 * R

    R = 48 / 6.28 = 7.64 ≈ 8 mm

    D = 2 * R = 2*8 = 16 mm
