    1/12 mile in an hour.

    Speed = Distance / time = (1/12) mile / 1 hour = (1/12) mile/hour.

    If it is (6/12) of a mile from the pool, the time taken:

    time = Distance / speed = (6/12) mile / (1/12) mile / hour

    = 6/12 * 12/1 = 6 hours.

    It would take 6 hours.
