On Monday, 490 students went on a field trip to the zoo. All 9 buses were filled and 4 students had to travel in cars. How many students were in each bus?

    486/9 = 54

    There were 54 students.

    Now do 486 (# of students riding bus) divided by 9 (how many buses) which gets u 54
