Jenna has 8 pairs of jeans. Three of them are blue. What percentage of her jeans is blue?

= 37.5%

But my question is this:

Jenna bought two more pairs of jeans.

If both of them are blue, what percentage of her jeans is blue now?

If both of them are not blue, what percentage of her jeans is blue now?

    A) blue/total = (3+2) / (8+2) = 5/10 = 50%

    b) blue/total = (3) / (8 + 2) = 3/10 = 30%
