A random sample of harvested corn showed that 6% of the ears of corn picked were not edible. Approximately 2300 ears of corn were picked.

About how many of those ears of corn were not edible?

    Find number of those ears of corn that were not edible.

    2,300 * 6% = 138

    138 ears of corn were not edible.
