    Step-by-step explanation:

    We are simply going to start with reverse algebra;

    if after reading 3/4 of the remainder, there are 14pages left

    this means 14pages is equal to 1/4 of the remainder,

    thus; if 1/4=14

    3/4=42pages. which is the number of the remaining pages

    So lets take the total number of pages as x

    tyler read 2/15 of it on monday = 2x/15

    he read 1/3 of it on tuesday=x/3

    he read 2/9 of it on wednesday=2x/9

    after subtracting the above value the remainder is 42pages

    x - (2x/15+x/3+2x/9) = 42pages

    after evaluating the lcm

    x - (31x/45) = 42pages

    evaluating the lcm once again

    14x/45 = 42pages

    multiplying both sides by 45 and dividing by 14

    1890/14=135pages
