    50 / 3 = 5280 / x ... 50 ft to 3 turns = 5280 ft to x turns

    cross multiply because this is a proportion

    (50) (x) = (3) (5280)

    50x = 15840

    x = 15840/50

    x = 316.8 pedal turns
