A plumber has a 9/4 metre length of copper piping. a) He uses 2/3 of this for a job. What length of pipe is left? b) For another job he needs 1/8 of a metre of piping. He cuts this length from the pipe left over from the first job. How much of the original pipe is left? c) For the final job, he cuts the remaining piece of pipe in half. What length are these two pieces?
