A grocery store has 5 pounds of granola. One customer buys 2/3 pounds of granola and another buys 5/6 pounds. after these purchases how much granola is left?

    There would be 3 and 1/2 pounds left.

    2/3 x 2 = 4/6

    5/6

    5/6 + 4/6 = 6/6 (1) and 3/6 (1/2)
