    Proportion of eligible jurors that were Mexican Americans = p = 0.791

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given;

    Number of persons eligible for jury duty Nt = 181,535

    Number of Mexican Americans eligible for jury duty Na = 143,611

    Proportion of eligible jurors that were Mexican Americans = p

    p = Na/Nt

    p = 143611/181535

    p = 0.791
