A fish tank contains as 1/2 many goldfish as mollies, and there are 6 more guppies than goldfish. If the total combined number of fish in the tank is 22, how many mollies are in the tank?

    17, because you divide 22 in half and add 6 because there are half as many mollies and there are 6 more guppies then goldfish.
