If you were to randomly survey 20 people at 50 randomly chosen high schools, would this be a random sample? Why or why not?

    Sarah is wrong. First of all 50 * 20 is 1000 thats more than 100. Also no this would not be random as a high school population constricts it to only ONE age group which is teens. This would not give you an accurate data set. You need to spread it over the general population all locations, races, genders and AGES.

    I'm pretty sure this would be because if I'm correct, the surveyors would not have known where and who they were gonna survey before they went. However, this wouldn't show accurate information because you should survey at least 100 people.
