Trevor needs a new bicycle tire. his tire has a circumference of 112 inches. what is the diameter of his tire.?

    First, you take the equation of the circumference of a circle which is: C=2πr

    Next, you would plug in what you have. So right now you have the circumference. So 112=2πr.

    Last what you would do is divide each side by πr so you would end up getting:

    112/2π=r

    By doing that equation, you would get the radius so you would just multiply your answer by 2.

    The diameter is 351.86 inches
