    There are TWO angles, if one angles is x then the other angle is 2x, lets set up an equation. The equation is going to be x+2x=90. Now we solve, x=1x, so 1x+2x=3x. 3x=90. Divide both sides by 3, 3x/3=90/3, 90/3=30, x=30. Add 30 by 30, 30+30=60. So, the answer is b) 60°

    Two complementary angles must add to 90 degrees, and if you divide 90 into thirds (two parts for the larger angle, one for the smaller), then you get 30 degrees.
