    When the shape is a circle, its perimeter is called the

    "circumference" of the circle.

    The circumference of a circle is always (pi) times its

    diameter.

    (pi) is roughly 3.1416. So if the diameter is 4 meters,

    then the circumference is

    12.5664 ... meters.

    Rounded to the nearest hundredth, that's 12.57 meters.
