    A rational number is any number that can represented as a fraction of two integers (when the denominator isn't 0). As decimals, rational numbers can be either terminating or repeating.

    All integers are rational numbers because they can be expressed as x/1.

    An example of a rational number that isn't an integer is 2/3.
