If you have 14 coins in your pocket and the amount of money you have in your pocket is 2.50, when only using nickels and quarters you would have:

    5 Nickels=0.25

    9 Quarters=2.25

    0.25+2.25=$2.50 (money)

    9+5 = 14 (amount of coins)

So you would have 5 nickeled and 9 quarters.
