22-3n = 14-12
14-12 = 2 so now you have:
22-3n = 2
subtract 22 from each side:
-3n = - 20
divide both sides by - 3 to get n
n = - 20 / - 3
n = 20/3 or 6.667 or 6 2/3 (depends on if you need a decimal or a fraction as an answer, you don't specify)
