    A) The sheep are sheared at a rate of 40 per hour. B) If the she as rer continues at the same rate for an addtional 5 hours, the tital ner of sheep sheared will be 280: 5x40 equals 200 sheep, plus the 80 sheep from the first 2 hours equals 280. C) In an 8 hou work day at the same rate, 320 sheep could be shorn: 40 x8 equals 320 D) To shear 300 sheep at the same rate of 40 per hour, it would take 7 2/2 hours. 320 sheep for an 8 hour day - 20 (the number of sheep that can be shorn in 1/2 hour) equals 300.
