    1. Find the difference between the sale price and the original price:

    90.00 - 67.5 = 22.5

    = $22.50

    2. Find this difference as a percentage of the original price:

    22.5 / 90 = 0.25

    0.25 x 100 = 25%

    The percentage discount was 25%.
