    By definition, we have:

    Rational number is any number that can be represented as the quotient of two whole numbers or, more precisely, an integer and a positive natural.

    For the case of percentages, we must always divide by 100 to convert it into a number.

    For example, 50% written as a number is:

    50% = 50/100
