The area of a rectangle is 5 4/5 m² the width of the rectangle is 2 1/4 m which is the best estimate for the length of a rectangle

    area = length * width

    so length = area / width

    length = 5 4/5 / 2 1/4

    = 29/5 / 9/4

    = 29/5 * 4/9

    = 116 / 45

    2.58 m to the nearest hundredth. As a fraction it is 2 26/45 m.
