The length of a rectangle, I, is six meters more than its width, w. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 36 meters, what is the length of the rectangle, in meters?

    W = X L = 6m+x

    36m = 2 (x+6m+x)

    36m=4x+12m

    24m=4x

    6m=x

    width=6m length=12m
