An object is is thrown (straight down) from the top of a 220 foot building with an initial velocity of 26 feet per second what is the velocity at 1 second?

    Wouldn't it be 26 feet? If the initial velocity is 26 feet, per every 1 second. Then the velocity should be 26 feet. I'm guessing.
