The Truck:v=x/t. x=v*t. x=45*t t is the time when they meet, starting when the Truck starts

The Car: x=60 * (t-1/4). As the Car starts 15 Minuten later, you have to subtract 15 from t. As t is hours (because v is Miles per hours, instead of 15 you write 1/4

x is the Same, because when they meet, they have travelled the Same distance:. 45*t=60 * (t-0,25)

    45*t=,60*t-0,25*60

    60*t-45*t=15

    15*t=15 t=15/15=1

So i will Take the Car 1-0,25=3/4 hours
