The formula v = sqrt 64h can be used to find the velocity, v, in feet per second, of an object that has fallen h feet. Find the velocity of an object that has fallen 75 feet. Round to the nearest tenth.,

    I think first that the 64 h should be in parantheses so v=sqrt (v*h) where sqrt means square root. If it falls 75 feet, then here h is 75 ft. Then v=sqrt (64*75) = sqrt (4800) = 69.282. Rounded to the nearest tenth our answer would be 69.3 ft/sec.
