Suppose that three astronauts outside a spaceship decide to play catch. all three astronauts have the same mass and are equally strong. the first astronaut throws the second astronaut toward the third one and the game begins. describe the motion of the astronauts as the game proceeds. how long will the game last?

    Since they are playing in the space, gravity or the lack of it plays a huge role here. When the first astronaut throws the second astronaut toward the third one and due to the force exerted they would be moving in the opposite direction and there won't be any catch. Hence the game does not continue after the first throw.
