Given m angle 1 = (2x+7) degrees and m angle 2 = (6x-9) degrees, find the measure of each angle if the angles are complementary.

    m∠1 + m∠2 = 90°

    (2x + 7) ° + (6x - 9) ° = 90°

    2x + 6x + 7 - 9 = 90

    8x - 2 = 90

    + 2 + 2

    8x = 92

    8 8

    x = 11.5°
