Pam and her brother both open a savings account. Each begin with a balance of $0. For every $2 that Pam saves in her account her brother saves $5 in his account. 1.) determine a ratio to describe the money in her brother account. 2.) If Pam has $40 in her account how much money does her brother has in his account.

    1) 2:5 because for every two dollars pam has her brother has $5

    2) $100 40 divided by 2 is 20. 20 times 5 is $100.

    Her brother has 100 dollars because you multiply 5 times 20
