    x--1/2 or x=2/7 I think this should work, if not is the 14x in parentheses or not?

    Answer: 2/7 & - 1/2

    14x^2 + 3x - 2 = 0

    = (14x^2 - 4x) + (7x - 2)

    = 2x (7x-2) + (7x - 2)

    = (7x - 2) (2x + 1)

    x = 2/7 and - 1/2
