1 and 2 are vertical angles. if m 1 = (6x+11) ° and m 2 is (10x-9) ° find m 1

    vertical angles are equal

    6x+11 = 10x-9

    subtract 6x from each side

    11 = 4x-9

    add 9 to each side

    20 = 4x

    divide by 4

    x=5

    m1 = 6x+11

    m1 = 6 (5) + 11

    m1 = 30+11

    m1 = 41
