    There are 450 trout in the lake.

    B - brown trout;

    R - rainbow trout.

    B : R = 6 : 9 = 2 : 3

    B = 2 t

    R = 3 t

    2 t + 3 t = 5 t

    5 t = 450

    t = 450 : 5

    t = 90

    R = 3 * 90 = 270

    Answer:

    There are 270 rainbow trout in the lake.
