    1 mile = 1760 yards

    1 yard = 3 feet

Fish speed in yards per minute:

    (12 * 1760) / (60)

    = 352 yards per minute

Boy speed in yards per minute:

    (4.4 / 3) * 60

    = 88 yards per minute

    The fish is:

    352 - 88

= 264 yards per minute faster than the boy
